1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using Leaflet ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.
2. Description of Service
Leaflet is a book tracking application for iOS devices that allows you to:
- Track books you're reading, have read, or want to read
- Record reading progress and statistics
- Save notes and quotes
- Set and track reading goals
- Receive AI-powered book recommendations (Premium)
- Sync your library across Apple devices via iCloud
3. User Accounts
Leaflet does not require or create user accounts on our servers. Your data is stored in your personal iCloud account, managed through your Apple ID. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Apple ID credentials.
4. Subscriptions and Payments
4.1 Free and Premium Tiers
Leaflet offers a free tier with core features and a Premium subscription with additional capabilities.
4.2 Billing
All payments are processed through Apple's App Store. By subscribing to Premium, you agree to Apple's terms of service for in-app purchases.
4.3 Pricing
- Premium Monthly: $4.99/month
- Premium Yearly: $34.99/year
Prices may vary by region and are subject to change.
4.4 Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
4.5 Refunds
Refunds are handled by Apple according to their refund policies. Contact Apple Support for refund requests.
5. User Content
Any content you create in Leaflet (notes, quotes, reviews, custom book entries) remains your property. We do not claim ownership of your content. Since your content is stored in your iCloud account, we have no access to it.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
- Attempt to circumvent subscription requirements
- Use the App for any illegal purpose
- Redistribute or resell the App
7. Third-Party Services
Leaflet uses third-party services for book metadata:
- Open Library API for book information
- Google Books API for additional metadata
These services have their own terms of service. We are not responsible for the accuracy of third-party book metadata.
8. Intellectual Property
The Leaflet app, including its design, code, and branding, is owned by Bulpara Inc. and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE APP WILL BE ERROR-FREE OR UNINTERRUPTED.
10. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BULPARA INC. SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Bulpara Inc. from any claims arising from your use of the App or violation of these terms.
12. Governing Law
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States.
13. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
